Eagle Nuclear Energy Expands Government Affairs and Uranium Advisory Capabilities

RENO, Nev., Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. (“Eagle” or the “Company”), a next-generation nuclear energy company that owns one of the largest conventional, measured and indicated uranium deposits in the United States, today announced that it has engaged LSN Partners (“LSN”) to provide government affairs, strategic advisory and stakeholder engagement services. The Company also announced the appointment of Blake Steele as an advisor.

LSN will support Eagle’s federal and state public-sector objectives, with a focus on domestic uranium production, advanced nuclear technologies, critical minerals policy, energy security, permitting and regulatory matters, and federal funding and procurement opportunities. The engagement will also support Eagle’s outreach to relevant federal agencies and key state governments, including Oregon and Nevada.

The engagement comes as the U.S. continues to focus on strengthening domestic uranium production and reducing reliance on foreign sources across the nuclear fuel supply chain. LSN will work with Eagle to develop and implement an engagement strategy around the policy, regulatory, and economic matters relevant to the Company’s long-term objectives.

“Eagle continues to work towards the development of an integrated nuclear energy platform combining domestic uranium resources with advanced SMR technology,” said Eagle CEO Mark Mukhija. “As we advance Aurora and our broader nuclear energy initiatives, we believe it is important to be actively engaged in the federal and state policy discussions impacting the future of domestic uranium production and nuclear energy. LSN brings significant experience across government affairs and strategic advisory services, which we’re confident will benefit Eagle as we move forward.”

In connection with these efforts, Eagle has appointed Blake Steele as an advisor to the Company. Steele is an experienced uranium and mining executive who previously served as President and CEO of Azarga Uranium Corp., where he led the advancement of a portfolio of U.S. uranium assets through the company’s acquisition by enCore Energy Corp. in 2022. Steele brings experience in U.S. uranium project development, public company leadership, and capital markets.

“Blake has direct experience advancing U.S. uranium assets and a proven track record of success in building value around domestic uranium projects,” said Mukhija. “That experience will be particularly relevant as we advance Aurora.”

Eagle’s flagship Aurora Uranium Project (“Aurora”), located along the Oregon-Nevada border, is one of the largest undeveloped uranium deposits in the United States. Eagle is currently advancing Aurora toward a Pre-Feasibility Study scheduled for completion in late 2027. The Company believes increased coordination between industry and government will be important as the U.S. works to expand domestic uranium production, strengthen energy security, and meet growing electricity demand.
